Cooking Schools

Phuket cooking schools are located throughout the Island of Phuket. Most of the cooking schools are all at the basic level which means it is very easy to learn how to prepare and cook a variety of Thailand’s famous cuisines.

Learning how to cook authentic Thai food is a very rewarding experience, the payoff impresses your family and friends with your newly acquired skill. Cooking classes range from half days, these are the most popular with tourists, to entire week courses. The half day courses are a lot of fun, most of them will show you how to cook four main courses, along with two or three famous Thai desserts.

Where can you find these short cooking classes? Most resorts in Phuket offer them, if the resort you are staying at does not offer any classes; there is always a place right around the corner.

To help you get started in your quest to learn the art of Thai cooking I have listed some good cooking schools below to help you get started, you just have to pick and choose what is right for you. So how much do these half day courses cost? Most schools charge between 1800 – 2000 Baht per person, the more advanced courses lasting several days start around the 8000 – 10,000 Baht range.
